THERE was plenty to tempt the tastebuds at Longland Farm Cottages and Stables in Wiston last Thursday (June 25).
Jenny and Delwyn Lewis hosted an open gardens and charity tea to raise funds for Adam’s Bucket of Hope Appeal.
Jenny, who was celebrating her birthday on the day, said: “After having cancer and being able to enjoy the support and therapies of the Bucketful of Hope, I wanted to give something back and help other cancer patients in Pembrokeshire.”
She added: “We had an amazing turnout, including the sunshine.
“Delwyn and I did most of the organising, but the setting up and day itself was due to an amazing army of friends, family, neighbours and Adam's Bucketeers!”
Just over £2,450 was raised, with more funds being collected in the first week August when Clarbeston Road AFC hold their annual football tournament in memory of 'Sticky'.
