Cor Abergwaun’s 30th anniversary concert, held at St Peter’s Church, Goodwick in October, raised £1,000 for Paul Sartori.
The four part choir was formed after the 1986 eisteddfod with John S Davies as conductor and Stephen Pilkington as accompanist.
Thirty years it is still going strong, conducted by Amanda Lawrence and accompanied by Margaret Rhys.
The fundraising concert featured works performed by the choir over the last three decades, as well as guest appearances by Goodwick Brass Band and young musicians all of whom have performed with the choir over the years.
The funds raised on the evening were match-funded by Lloyds Bank.
The cheque was presented to Ceri Price from Paul Sartori at a choir practice last month.
