Both Fishguard and Cardigan lifeboats were tasked this morning (Saturday) to a vessel in trouble in the Cardigan estuary.
The fishing boat, with two crew onboard, was on moorings in the estuary off Poppit beach. It started taking on water shortly before 9am this morning.
Cardigan lifeboat was on the scene within minutes. The fishing boat's two crew were taken onbard and the stricken vessel secured.
Fishguard all weather lifeboat was stood down before it reached the scene. Gwbert and Cardigan Coastguards were also tasked.
