A CYCLIST is in a stable but critical condition in University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff, following an accident at the Rath, Milford Haven, on Sunday morning.
It is believed the man had come off his mountain bike while riding on the west end of the Rath, near Slip Hill, sometime before 9.30am.
Two ambulances, an air ambulance and five police cars attended the incident.
A police spokesman said:
"Following assessment and treatment at the scene the cyclist was airlifted to hospital, where he remains in a stable but critical condition."
The spokesman said the incident is not currently being treated as suspicious, and no third party involvement is suspected. However, police would still like to speak to anyone who may have been in the area at the time and witnessed the incident.
