Narberth athlete Celia Boothman has completed the course in the Ironman World Championships in Kona overnight.
Competing in the 40-44 years category Boothman, has been given a provisional finish time of 11:09:22.
She completed the 2.4 mile swim in 1:08:36, the 112 mile cycle in 6:03:02, and the 26.2 mile marathon run in 3:49:08, with the time spent in transitional phases added to those efforts.
Her impressive effort was enough to secure 33rd place in her category.
Swiss woman Daniela Ryf was the overall woman's winner in 8:50:47, while the first athlete home was Germany's Patrick Lange, who finished in 8:01:40.
