A busy Saturday down west is in store for Lee Trundle with the Swansea City legend set to make his debut for Haverfordwest County.
The 41-year-old was unavailable as the Bluebirds beat Llantwit Major 2-0 last week, but is expected to come into the squad for another home game with Pontypridd Town tomorrow, 2.30pm kick off.
And following that Trundle, now club ambassador at the Liberty Stadium, will be heading straight to Spittal where he will be a guest at the Clarbeston Road AFC Football Fun Day on the village green.
The event will involve men and women's matches, walking football, and several children's games too.
At the conclusion of the junior games (around 6pm), Trundle will present trophies to the juniors at The Pump on the Green pub, his kit sponsot for the 2018/19 season. This will be followed by a barbecue which has been organised by hosts Alison and Mark Jones.
Despite not playing for Haverfordwest last weekend, Trundle warmed up nicely by playing 90 minutes for Bristol City Veterans on Sunday, scoring four goals.
