Second Division Cup: Prendergast Villa 3-5 Kilgetty

It was entertaining at Prendergast as Kilgetty progressed into the last eight.

It was the home side who took the lead 15 minutes in when Ben John fired in a low shot from just inside the area, but the leas didn't last as Jordan Gorman levelled for Kilgetty.

Prendergast went down to 10 men when Liam Arnold was sent off, but still re-took the lead when player manager Simon 'Jaffa' Ellis struck from close range following a corner.

But in the second half Kilgetty stormed back.

The visitors grabbed three quickfire goals as Josh Bevan levelled matters, and then added his second after Henry Lawrence had fired the away side in front.

Shane Phillips nodded one back for Prendergast but then Rochard Tebbut came off the bench to seal matters for Kilgetty.

Elsewhere, there was a big win for Hakin 2nds as they beat Fishguard 2nds 2-0.

Bradley Barrett opened the scoring early in the second half when he went clean through from sub Paul Thompson's pass, and lobbed away keeper Dean Hopson.

Verteran midfielder Steve Mathias doubled the lead with a super 'up and down' free kick over the wall, and although Fishguard pressed late on, a good save from stand in keeper Leigh Broome and goalline clearance from James Williams saw Hakin through.

Merlins Bridge 2nds also won at Broad Haven, with an own goal and strikes from Steve McNabney and Ben Davies giving them a 3-0 win.

Camrose came through by the same score at home to Llangwm/Haverfordwest CC, thanks to a brace from Craig George after Sean Pearson had put them ahead.

Lawrenny were the last team through (with Solva and Letterston having had byes in the frist round), beating Hundleton 4-2.
