The annual Pembrokeshire Hockey Tournament was played on Saturday, September 21st, at Fishguard Leisure Centre.

The teams that played were Pembrokeshire 1sts, Pembrokeshire 2nds, Fishguard, Carmarthen, and Milford Haven.

Milford played Fishguard first up and won 5-0.

The side started well and kept up their early momentum with Charlotte Davies and Rachel Coe both having a brace and youngster Kacey Arran scoring as well.

Milford then played Pembrokeshire 1st who both had chances throughout the 25 minute game yet neither were able to find the back of the net - resulting in 0-0 score.

Thirdly the squad played Carmarthen who are also in Division 1.
It started off end to end with 15 minutes to go of the 25 minute game when Kacey Arran was able to score two goals with two minutes.

With Carmarthen stepping up a gear and Milford becoming complacent Carmarthen were able to claw it back though as the game ended 2-2.

That meant Milford finished up against Pembrokeshire 2nds, who went into the game as gorup leaders.

It was a level game to start which changed when both Kacey Arran and Kaysha Price, who made her debut, scored from balls across the D. To seal matters, Charlotte Davies scored the final two goals to give Milford a 4-0 win.

"It was a fantastic way for us to start our new season with some new juniors coming into the team," said skipper Rachel Coe.
