JD Cymru Premier: Haverfordwest County 1-1 Bala Town

Not for the first time this season, there was late drama in a Haverfordwest County game as Jack Wilson struck a 90th minute equaliser for the Bluebirds against Bala.

It was Wilson who scored at the death when Wayne Jones' side beat the same opponents earlier in the season, and after Ben Williams poked Bala in front nine minutes from time, the forward latched onto a Mark Jones pass and fired a right foot shot home.

Live again on S4C, it was the Bluebirds who threatened first when Danny Williams went through on goal, only to be thwarted by away keeper John Rushton.

At the other end Steve Leslie's cross bounced off the bar and out of play, before Williams went close again - dragging a shot wide after being teed up by Kieran Lewis.

Chances continued at both ends as Wilson was also denied by Rushton, before home keeper Turner did well to save a Leslie free kick.

In the second half though, it was Bala who got on the front foot as Chris Venables put a free header wide, and Will Evans had a low drive saved by Turner.

With 13 minutes left however, it was Haverfordwest who were inches from the lead as Elliot Scotcher's 25 yard free kick came back off the post.

It looked a pivotal moment when Evans finished well at the near post from Leslie's low cross.

Mark Jones missed a late chance to level matters, but then Wilson cropped up again to rescue a point.

Even then, the Bluebirds could have nicked all three points but deep into injury time, it was Jones who had a shot tipped away by Rushton.
