WHITLAND took heavy punishment at the weekend losing to a strong Llangennech side in the Admiral National League 1 West.
The Borderers lost 43-7 to a Llangennech side that have a perfect record so far this season with six from six.
Whitland sit seventh in the table with 18 points and three wins and four defeats.
Jordan Price opened the scoring at the Park Llwyn Ty Gwyn for Llangennech and from there the flood gates opened with four more unanswered tries by the visitors scored by Gareth George, Gregg George, Tom Rees and Rhys Davies.
Whitland got a consolation try through skipper Scott Newton before Llangennech socred tow further tries by John Neale and Luke Davies.
