MILFORD Haven Karate Club have gone from strength to strength after a student at the club tasted glory in the 2023 Welsh Karate League novice kata.
Club student Le Le won the overall event, making him the overall season champion for 2023.
Le showed superb technique and strength throughout the events. This saw him take four golds to secure maximum points in the final standings.
The victories have given him the confidence to pursue further tournaments in 2024 and to compete around the country.
The Milford Haven Karate Club fighters who competed alongside Le at the events also excelled, giving their all in what has been a challenging but successful season.
Josh Whatling, Connor John and Gethin Adams have been regulars on the circuit and have produced impressive displays, gaining wins along the way.
The highlight for Josh, Connor and Sensei Kevin John was competing at the World Championships in Dundee, a brilliant experience that will benefit the trio long-term.
Sensei John said: "The lads will push on next year to compete in the major competitions around the country, with a goal to compete in the European Championships in 2024."
