Tenby Sailing Club has had a good start to the season on and off the water.

The club’s junior training still has six slots open for youngsters eight and above for weekly RYA sail training sessions at TSC.

Registration is 6pm on Wednesday, April 10.

The training kicks off Wednesday, April 17 at 5.30pm.

Last week, members Nina Marsh and Amelia Nuttall, partaking in the RYA Youth National Championships, finished in 13th and 17th places respectively. They completed seven of the 12 races.

Unfortunately, Storm Kathleen delayed the start of the dinghy racing season, with races for the Dr. White Cup rescheduled for next Saturday, April 13.

On the social side, the Ex-Commodores Quiz saw eight teams compete, with Smart Alecs commendingly placing second, behind Team Twp.

In a grand gesture, Joseph Fry, on behalf of St. Catherine’s Island and Fort, handed over a cheque of £100 to TSC Commodore Blake Shaw last month.
