MERLINS Bridge scored a 93rd minute equaliser to earn a point in their game with Pennar Robins on Saturday, October 24.
The sides had played each other in the Senior Cup just a week previously, with the Wizards winning 6-1, but Pennar were keen to get some revenge.
It was the Wizards who took the lead though, as Adam Kingsbeer scored his sixth goal of the season.
It remained 1-0 until half time but the Wizards knew Pennar would look to get back into the game in the second half.
And, just four minutes after the restart, the Robins levelled the score as Noah Davison’s effort found the back of the net.
In the 67th minute, Craig Asparassa set up Gethin Bradney to score to put Pennar ahead.
The Wizards had their chances to level the game, but as the game wore on, it looked as if Pennar would hold on.
But, in the third minute of time added on, sub Bradley Plunkett scored to make it 2-2.
Neither side could find a winner, and they would have to settle for a share of the points.
Merlins Bridge drop to third place in the table while Pennar are up to sixth place.
On Saturday, October 31, Pennar are at home against St Ishmaels, while Merlins Bridge visit Narberth.
