Solva 4.

Pennar Robins 2.

Solva gained a sensational victory over Pennar Robins despite finishing the clash with ten-men.

A few weeks ago Solva were thrashed 8-2 at Pennar, but this reversal certainly put a smile on Solva manager Peter Cole’s face.

Charlie Syme was Solva’s hero, the striker grabbing three second-half goals to ensure victory in his side’s favour.

Gareth Thomas gave Solva the lead with a confidently dispatched penalty.

Dean Driscoll’s lob made it all square at the break.

The visitors took the lead when Wayne Brunton’s quick turn and strike beat Solva keeper Chris Davies.

Syme equalised with a stunning 20-yarder. Minutes later and Syme put his side ahead. Syme then completed his hat-trick from the penalty spot.

In the dying minutes Solva had defender Dai Price sent off for the second time this season.

Referee Phil Gale awarded a third penalty, which Wayne Brunton rattled the spot-kick against the crossbar – summing up the Robins’ dreadful afternoon.
