Narberth 1 Neyland 0

A solitary 40th minute strike from Jordan Williams earned Narberth an important home victory over struggling Neyland.

Both sides were not at full strength, but it was Bluebirds’ boss Nigel Thomas who felt happy that his side picked up the three precious points to lifts them up to eighth.

“We didn’t play our best, but the most important thing was to win,” said Narberth manager Nigel Thomas.

“We got our noses in front and goalkeeper Christian Phillips made some cracking saves to deny them scoring.”

This defeat leaves Mark Edwards’ Nomads in a relegation dogfight, currently fifth from bottom and with just four games left to try to get themselves out of the mire.
