Twenty-two teams entered Saturday’s Pendine open triples bowls competition, organised by Pam Jones.
Despite the weather in the morning being wet and cold, the day was enjoyed by all teams that participated.
Five ends played with two woods in a round robin event.
The event was won by a team from Llangennech, Llanelli, and the runners up were a Carmarthen team.
The cheques were presented by Pendine bowling club president Elinor Yorke. The shield was presented by Beryl Lawley-Lewis of Saundersfoot. Ted Brutnel acted as umpire.
