Goodwick United 5
Kilgetty 0
Goodwick United maintain their top of the league status after crushing Kilgetty at the Phoenix Ground.

Last week Kilgetty put five past league favourites Merlins Bridge, but this week’s performance told a far different story as they found themselves on the receiving end of a hiding.

On form Goodwick striker Jay Brockway scored in the 16th and 29th minutes to give the hosts a two-goal lead at the interval.

The visitors battled hard, but once Goodwick boss Bernie Armstrong introduced fresh legs in the form of Jonny Horgan and Ricky Bowen more goals came thick and fast.

Danny Williams added a third with a sublimely struck volley. Bowen’s cross from the right led to the fourth as super-sub Jonny Horgan lashed a shot in to the roof of the net.

Three minutes from full time and Nigel Delaney netted his fourth penalty in the last three outings to ensure Goodwick remain three points clear at the top of the summit.
