Good afternoon,

I would like to make an enquiry about the late Iris Davies on behalf of my father, Kenneth George Tomes (now 90). We realise that this is quite a long shot, but could she possibly have been the same Iris Davies whom my father fondly remembers from the early 1950s in St Davids ? At that time he was a navel rating at RNAS Goldcrest at Brawdy. While there he took the lead role in a naval amateur theatre production of a play called 'The Man who Changed his Name' with a cast of naval personnel and local residents, which was performed several times around the area. The lead female role was played by an Iris Davies, small and dark, whom he remembers worked at Lloyds Banks in St Davids at the time.
