David Lloyd-Thomas A Service of Thanksgiving for the life of David Lloyd-Thomas whose death in Guernsey at the age of 82 was previously reported, is to be held in St. Nicholas' Church, Penally at 11.00 am on Saturday April 9th. David was the beloved husband of Pauline and much loved father of Graham, Helen and Jane as well as being a grandfather and great grandfather. Following service in the Royal Marines he developed and operated the caravan site at Lydstep Haven before his retirement and sale of the estate in 1982. His retirement years with Pauline were spent in Andorra, France and Guernsey. Following the service at St. Nicholas' there will be a private interment of David's ashes to be attended by immediate family members at Tenby Cemetery. There is a request for family flowers only, with donations in lieu for the Tenby branch of the RNLI, c/o Funeral Directors, W & M J Rossiter & Sons Ltd, The Old Rectory, The Norton, Tenby. SA70 8AB.
