Fancy a laugh? Come along to the Span Arts Comedy Club, with the highly-regarded Mickey Sharma and the eccentric Harriet Dyer at The Queens Hall, Narberth on June 12.

Mickey Sharma is a regular at all the big comedy clubs, such as Glee and Jongleurs , combining comedy and another form of artistry (it seems most are kept in the dark about this one!) his high and contagious energy keep audiences engaged and amused with his take on gingers and the road safety of his native India.

Mickey was a promising cricket player, until an injury ended his budding career and he moved to Birmingham where he first started out as a stand-up comedian. Since then he has gone on to perform on Meera Syal’s Asian Comedy Night and was the winner of Bath Comedy festival’s New Act award 2010.

The second act of the evening is the lively Harriet Dyer, a comic force to be reckoned with who has performed with the likes of John Bishop and Sarah Millican. Her stand-up style has been described as quirky and eccentric, even Kevin bridges quoted ‘She’s got funny bones!’.

Her unique character lures you into her own world, with her personal off-the-wall storytelling wowing the crowd while making them feel at home.

Compere of the night is Windsor, a comedian whose street-entertainer skills have perfected his comedy talent, coercing the audience into the right mood with his relaxed and playful manner. He’s performed at street festivals all over the world, and is a regular compere at many a club with his warmth and charm.

Span Arts Comedy Club is the perfect night out, with delicious food in the interval from Sospan Fach and cosy caberet candle-lit seating.

Advance tickets are cheaper and can be booked either at span-arts.org.uk or book over the phone on 01834 869323.
