WITH overall crime down by 10% since the current government came to office, I am not sure how the Labour MP from Birmingham who recently visited Pembroke Dock, can say that ‘there are disturbing signs of progress in terms of fighting crime starting to be reversed’.
I’m not sure what he is on about as our police force here do a fantastic job in keeping us safe and the facts speak for themselves.
With one of the best forces in the country, 30 extra police officers to be recruited in 2014, an increase in spending on tackling anti-social behaviour alongside overall savings of £3.7m this year I would suggest that he return in haste to Birmingham and look after his own patch!
