FAIR play we all make mistakes.
I filled my diesel car with petrol a couple of years ago.
Even former council leader John ‘Cwmbetws’ Davies has admitted making mistakes.
He has not however elaborated on the precise nature of his mistakes.
We are left to speculate as to what mistakes he is referring to.
Was it a mistake to hold the September 2011 senior staff committee meeting in the chief executive’s office?
Was it a mistake to exclude the public from the meeting?
Was it a mistake to allow Bryn Parry Jones to remain in the room when a decision was being made which affected his personal interests?
Was it a mistake to publish minutes of the meeting so lacking in detail that it was not possible for Pembrokeshire voters to know exactly what happened?
My mistake when I filled my diesel car with petrol was due to a momentary lapse of concentration. Could that be the explanation for whatever mistakes John ‘Cwmbetws’ Davies is admitting to?
And anyway it was over two years ago so it doesn’t really count so much now does it?
