I AM presently researching the family history of fisherman Thomas Moore who lived in Milford Haven up until 1940 when he died in the sinking of a vessel the Lord Haldane to which he was the skipper.
The Lord Haldane was registered in Lowestoft and sank in the Bristol Channel in November 1940 with all hands lost.
Thomas Moore left a wife Maud and four grown up children Thomas, Frank, Eileen and Hazel.
I would be interested in making contact to any of the present family who are still living in the Milford Haven area.
Thomas Moore was born in 1887 and possibly in Lowestoft but I can find no evidence of his family connections in Lowestoft at all.
