I hear so many negative comments about Withybush Hospital that I feel the need to thank all the wonderful doctors and nurses on the Chemo Day Unit for all the professional help, support and treatment I have received over the past 18 months in between treatments at the Heath in Cardiff. When you are diagnosed with cancer it is a very frightening time, but as soon as you arrive at the day unit you are made to feel very welcome, relaxed and safe. Their advice is very reassuring and nothing is too much bother to them . Sometimes treatment over runs and they give many hours of their own time each week to ensure your treatment is completed. I would like to say a massive thank you to a wonderful team at the CDU and I am convinced that no amount of money could have bought me better treatment than what I have received from the NHS.
