WELL done Michael Bossom and Eleanor Clegg – but is there anyone listening?

In this modern day of worry about climate change, now the world is becoming aware of what we are doing to the planet by our overuse of polluting machines, why are the Welsh assembly and the local powers that be – doing their best to add to it by closing down everything local (hospitals, schools etc etc) and making us travel further and further causing even more pollution?

Also by refusing wind and solar plans in most cases solely on ‘spoiling the view’.

I would rather exist near a wind turbine station than a nuclear or fuel burning one. I can remember years ago when electricity first came to homes, some people then objected to telegraph poles and pylons as they ‘spoilt the view’ but is they couldn’t press a switch and have lights/TV/computer, cookers, fridges, washing machines etc etc then would be an outcry about that.

Don’t be like Don Quixote – tilting at windmills.
