I’M writing to thank everyone who took time out of their day on May 5 to re-elect me as their Assembly Member for Preseli Pembrokeshire.
It’s a great honour to represent my home at an Assembly level and I’m touched that so many people have given me the opportunity to continue my work.
I’d also like to thank the other candidates for Preseli Pembrokeshire, who spent countless hours engaging with people in all parts of the constituency as well as attending public meetings to discuss some of Pembrokeshire’s more pressing matters, whether it be services at Withybush hospital, school reorganisation proposals, the A40 or any other issues.
It takes courage to stand for election and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed sharing a platform with the other candidates throughout this campaign.
Pembrokeshire is certainly alive politically and it’s been fantastic to speak to so many people throughout the campaign who want to see the same thing that I do – Pembrokeshire thrive. I want to reiterate that my door is always open and I’d encourage anyone who has an issue that they think I might be able to help with to contact my office.
I pledge to continue to work with communities and ensure that your voices are heard by the incoming Welsh Government.
