THE PEMBROKE Dock Library Gallery was opened years ago by Nick Ainger and Arthur Giadelli for the local people to exhibit their arts and crafts, to include some travelling exhibitions.
We have just heard the commission on paintings sold etc will be 40% that is almost half.
We ‘The Pembroke Art Group’ object strongly to this, we reluctantly had to raise our prices to reflect the charge of 35% last Christmas and sold not one painting.
This is not a professional gallery just a local one for the local people to enjoy whilst visiting the library.
We think you the council have a hidden agenda to claim the use of this gallery space and to make money from it, never mind about the rest of us.
