We were sickened to read about the mindless people from the Pembrokeshire area who shot a hedgehog, resulting in its death. 

The pain and suffering this poor animal must have gone through is unimaginable. This abhorrent attack is made all the worse knowing that the hedgehog population in such serious decline – every hedgehog is important when it comes to protecting the future of this unique British mammal.

We ask that anyone who has any information about this attack contact the Inspectorate Appeal Line on 0300 123 8018 and quote log number 01244534.

Let us ensure the culprit is caught and punished for carrying out such a cowardly and cruel attack.
