A40 decision is nonsense

Dear Editor
The decision not to dual the A40 is nonsense.

Why must Pembrokeshire always lose out on improvements? I believe until the A40 is dualled all we shall have in Pembrokeshire is seasonal or poorly-paid work.

If Gordon James, of Friends of the Earth thinks a dualled A40 will make us all go shopping to Swansea and Carmarthen think again. We do that now, but a dualled A40 could bring those stores and jobs to Pembrokeshire, jobs that are vital for the county’s economy.

Or do the AMs and MPs from the M4 corridor hold too much sway in where new jobs go?
