Dear Editor:- At the end of May this year we had the misfortune to have abreakdown in our car near Haverfordwest.

We would like to thank most sincerely the two motorists who stopped to see if we needed help, the RAC who very efficiently took us to Phoenix Garage where it was repaired and to that garage for their very efficient help and service. In addition we were given exceptional help by Mrs P Matthews of Trefin who ensured our holiday was not ruined in any way.

All these people restored our faith in human nature and in the wonderful people of Pembrokeshire.

But what did I expect as a Pembrokeshire man myself. Nothing less.
