What percentage of the work force are local workers on this power station construction job. The power station project has been talked about for many years, plenty of time to get local people trained up and ready for construction vacancies. How come this did not happen?
The decision to use fuel that has to be shipped half way around the world could prove to be the wrong one, especially with the growing unrest around the Persian gulf "Iran etc". I cannot see much gas coming through the straits of hormuz, in the event of a conflict. I hope they have a plan B for fuelling the power station. Welsh coal springs to mind, or even Thorium which is 4 times as abundent in the earth, as Uranium. It is also much safer as a fuel, the only reason it seems not to have been used in other power stations, is that you cannot easily make nuclear weapons out of its bi-products.
