I recently purchased a couple of bottles of antifreeze, as I was about to use it, I noticed that it was premixed. I had just bought 50% water, which cost me the same as buying pure antifreeze. I used to just top up my car with undiluted antifreeze. If you have recently changed your car, like I had, and tested the strength of the coolant to find it was only just good enough protection for a couple of degrees below zero. The only way to safely get your coolant to the correct strength, is to drain your coolant and then refill with this premixed stuff, which costs from £3-£5 a litre. In the past,it was a lot cheaper to just top up my radiator with undiluted antifreeze. If someone topped up their coolant system with this diluted stuff, and did not check the coolant strength, their engine could be ruined by a sudden freeze. It surely is a pay and pay again rip off society.
