Police confirm death of surfer pulled from the water at Freshwater West

Police have confirmed that a 45-year-old man from the Kilgetty area, who was pulled from the sea at Freshwater West on Saturday morning, has died.
St Govans Coastguard Rescue Team helped recover the surfer after receiving a call for assistance just before 9am.
The casualty was flown by Helimed 57 to Withybush Hospital but did not recover consciousness.
A spokesperson for Dyfed-Powys Police said a post mortem examination will take place tomorrow (Tuesday).
