Two people have been taken to hospital following a microlight crash near Rhosygilwen Mansion, Cilgerran.
The crash happened at about 11am today (Sunday) near a private airstrip at the Mansion.
A microlight plane crashed into an oak tree landing in a nearby field shortly after taking off.
The male pilot and female passenger sustained injuries in the crash which at this stage are not believed to be life threatening.
A Dyfed-Powys Police spokesman said: "The pilot has extensive flying experience. The families of the injured parties have been informed."
The pilot was flown by air ambulance to Morriston Hospital and the female passenger was taken to Glangwili Hospital, Carmarthen.
Police, ambulance and fire crews were in attendance. An investigation has been launched by the air accident investigation branch.
