The latest show by the NoFitState Circus, Bianco, is currently showing at Bluestone, near Narberth.

The leaflets state this is a signature style show which is seductive, thrilling, soulful and a totally immersive contemporary circus experience.

I took my family along without knowing what to expect, except to look out for a 'silver spaceship' big top.

We were greeted by a member of the circus team at the main gate wearing a leather kilt and a quirky hat and told to head for the entrance.

Once inside music was playing, there was a hazy atmosphere and the main ring was covered in white sheeting.

We were ushered around from the entrance and then an announcement came across the tannoy system stating that there was no seating, and the audience could move around inside the performance, getting up close and personal with the action.

We soon found a place to stand as the electrifying band started playing.

The music was loud and energetic, which complimented the performance perfectly.

The sheeting was stripped down to reveal performers hanging from the main stanchions, holding up the huge tent, along with others dangling in the middle of the ring.

White steel towers were used during the show at different times and the audience were asked to move to one side or another to make way for equipment to be used during the performance.

At one stage the audience were beckoned forward to enjoy the acrobats hanging above them from the centre of the main arena.

Cast members are constantly walking around the outside area all dressed in unusual clothing, and then joining in to become part of the show.

This is certainly not a normal circus, and is at times breathtaking.

If you have ever witnessed the spectacle that is Cirque du Soleil then some aspects of this show will look and feel familiar.

The way in which the structure is used as part of the show is extremely imaginative.

I would definitely recommend a visit to the show as we all enjoyed our afternoon immensely.

The show runs until July 6th.
