PEMBROKE Dock police officers are conducting extra patrols following reports of fishing wire strung at head height across Birdcage Walk at around 10.15am on Monday (September 23).
A Dyfed-Powys police spokesman said: "Neighbourhood policing officers will conduct additional patrols to reassure the public and to combat repeat offences."
Pembroke Dock Town Council also issued a notice on its Facebook page asking people to be aware.
Anybody who has seen any suspicious activity or has any information should contact Pembroke Dock police station on 101.
