THE Sign and Share Club enjoyed a wonderful day at Folly Farm on 6th September 2013. Three new members attended for the first time and the day was blessed by good weather.
Organiser Shirley David said staff were extremely helpful in allowing the talks about the animals to be interpreted into British Sign Language, and in organising a separate land train ride.
The next meeting will be at Wetherspoons on Friday, October 4, from 12pm until 3pm, where members will have a chance to design a leaflet to advertise the club.
The cost of printing the leaflet has been kindly donated by Valero Energy Ltd, Pembroke Refinery.
Sign and Share Club provides deaf and hearing impaired people with an opportunity to socialise and brush up on their sign language.
