HUNDLETON WI held its first meeting of 2014 on January 7 at Hundleton Sports Pavilion.
Final arrangements were made for the annual dinner at the Coach House, Pembroke, this Saturday (January 25).
The guest speaker for the evening was Paul Dyson who talked about international search and rescue.
Members were shown slides which demonstrated the team effort involved in saving many lives.
Competition winners for ‘A favourite shopping bag’ were: 1st Virginia McNally, 2nd Sandra Thompson, 3rd Pat Preece.
Raffle winners were Betty Lyons and Pauline Charlett.
The next meeting will be held on Tuesday, February 4 at the Highgate Inn Hotel at 7pm. There will also be a darts competition.
New members are always welcome.
