The deadline is looming for a prestigious script writing competition that started life in the pubs of Pembrokeshire.
Now in its seventh year the Pint-sized Plays competition showcases plays between five and ten minutes long that can be performed in the bar area of a pub.
The closing date for this year's competition is May 31.
Ten winning plays and runners-up are presented during the Tenby Festival and in other pubs around Pembrokeshire. All ten plays then go on to a script slam at Theatr Gwaun, Fishguard, where the audience decides the overall best script.
"The competition is now internationally recognised and has included winners from Australia, the USA and New Zealand as well as Wales and the rest of the UK," said organiser Derek Webb.
Pint-sized Plays has also started to publish the winning scripts, with the second volume of plays just released.
"Having the scripts published has encouraged drama groups and theatre companies to use them," said Derek.
"The authors are getting their work produced and the innovative ten minute play art form is finding a new audience.
