The next talk in Tenby Museum and Art Gallery’s series of annual lectures is by television and radio presenter Jamie Owen. He is a native of Pembrokeshire and the president of the museum, in which capacity he has visited many times and opened several art exhibitions.
Jamie Owen is the face of BBC Wales Today, but for the past few years he has also been working in the Middle East - Jordan, Egypt and Libya. He will be talking about his experiences in the ‘Arab Spring’ countries, helping journalists to launch new programmes in countries formerly ruled by dictators. The event will take place at the museum on Castle Hill this Friday (August 1), at 7pm. . Limited seats available. Booking advisable. Tickets are £5 (£4 with friends card) Tel: 01834 842809 for more information
