Haverfordwest County 2 Caernarfon Town 1.

A poor first half was followed by a lively second half Blues display culminating in two crisp strikes from Jodie Jenkins.

The visitors took advantage of a wind at their backs in the first half and got stuck in as Maxwell prompted well in midfield.

The visitors applied most of the pressure in the first half, and the Blues were putting very little together.

There was no Bluebirds' shot on goal until the 32nd minute, when Jack Christopher took a 25-yard dip out of the blue to see his shot whistle over.

In the second half the Bluebirds moved up a gear.

Chris O'Sullivan started to threaten down the right, in the space of four minutes he set up three attacks which were to brighten the complexion of the game.

In the 57th minute Christopher headed over from the winger's corner, and two minutes later Tim Hicks headed just wide after a sharp O'Sullivan break.

Then, in the 61st minute Sully's fine, deep cross took the faintest of grazes off Christopher's forehead and travelled through to the six-yard line for Jodie Jenkins to slot in.

Jenkins completed a brace 13 minutes later when he floated a fine shot over keeper Paul Pritchard for a picture goal.

Finally, in the 87th minute Phil Cattlin appeared to be taken out in the centre circle only for the referee to wave play on. He then awarded a penalty for a challenge on Addo in the area.

Maxwell put the spot kick away powerfully, but mercifully it wasn't enough to spoil the Bluebirds' well-deserved fifth home win.
