The results of two inspirational children's workshops were on display onboard Stena Europe yesterday, as Fishguard Arts Society and Sea Trust presented two banners to captain Chris Connor and Stena's local marketing manager, Carl Milne.

The marine-themed banners were created during Easter holiday workshops with artist Lizzie MacRae.

"We are really delighted to be involved in raising awareness of our inspirational marine environment, it is an important part of what local artists are involved in" said Gaynor McMorrin, chair of Fishguard Arts Society.

The banners will be used by Sea Trust as part of their Dolphin Coast project, designed to combine conservation, artistic creativity and eco-tourism to benefit the community and its surrounding wildlife.

The project will be launched on board the Fishguard ferry on May 21st by TV wildlife presenter and Sea Trust President, Iolo Williams.

"With the continued, invaluable support of Stena we will be offering Dolphin Days aboard the Stena Europe throughout the summer, from Whitsun to September culminating in our popular Dolphin-othon," said Sea Trust Chair Cliff Benson.

"We at Sea Trust and the Fishguard Arts Society see the Dolphin Coast project as an exciting community interface with our biggest local employer and a step forward into a fruitful future venture."
