Several hundred homes were left without power following a stormy night across Pembrokeshire.

Western Power said 272 homes were without power at 9am following the impact of Storm Frank.

The power cuts were in five separate incidents across the county, including St Davids, Pembroke Dock and near Penally.

Irish Ferries have cancelled all Isle of Inishmore sailings today (Wednesday) between Pembroke and Rosslare.

Milford Haven fire crew was called out to Tesco petrol station at 11.10pm last night to remove loose metal sheeting from the canopy.

Haverfordwest fire crew had a similar shout at 2.34am at Ridgeway garage on Fishguard Road, Haverfordwest.

A Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue spokesman said Pembrokeshire had escaped the worst of the weather and that they had mostly been dealing with incidents in Carmarthenshire.

Meanwhile Natural Resources Wales is warning of the potential for flooding. It has alerts in place for the coastlines of Pembrokeshire, Ceredigion and Carmarthenshire, with the greatest impact expected for the morning tides.

Alerts are also in place for south Pembrokeshire, where the combination of ground conditions, existing river levels and forecast rainfall gives a high risk of flooding of low-lying land over the next few days.

The MET office also has yellow warnings in place for wind and rain for Pembrokeshire.
