The Western Telegraph welcomes everyone to the Big Day Out – a day of family fun in association with Folly Farm and Pembrokeshire College –as part of Pembrokeshire Fish Week.

Pembrokeshire Fish Week is a celebration of the county’s link to sea and coast.

But despite the festival going from strength to strength in recent years, previous organisers, the Milford Marina, had chosen to give up on the event due to a busy summer schedule.

The event faced closure – until the Western Telegraph, with the support of Pembokeshire County Council, offered its services in support of the event.

As part of the festivities, the Western Telegraph has organised The Big Day Out, a family fun-day at Scolton Manor.

The event boasts a range of activities for young and old, including a funfair, bouncy castle, pony rides, laser tag, birds of prey displays and a host other fun.

There will also be cooking demonstration, dance workshops, face-painting and lots of furry animals to pet, plus activities with the Girl Guides and performances from Milford Haven brass band, music on the Radio Pembrokeshire live stage and a special guest appearance by X-Factor stars YesLad.

The Western Telegraph Big Day Out, in association with Folly Farm and Pembrokeshire College, will be the perfect summer event for the whole family.

The Big Day Out will be held on Sunday, June 25.
