Roch School have the achieved the internationally recognised Eco Schools Green Flag award for a continued effort to be more environmentally aware.
Two years of focusing on four key projects has lead to the award.
These projects have involved encouraging active travel, saving energy, improving composting of fruit at break times and work linked to biodiversity with the school hedgerows.
Regular Eco Council meetings have taken place, as well as eco events such as termly green travel weeks and whole school eco competitions.
