A GRUELLING 24-hour fitness challenge will raise money for Ward 10 at Withybush Hospital this weekend.

Aspire Personal Training is hosting a day-long charity event to raise money in support of local man Luke Harding, who is currently battling cancer.

Starting at 10am tomorrow (Saturday), the event will run until 10am on Sunday, and see a variety of fitness sessions on offer, plus bouncy castle, face painting, refreshments and raffle.

All proceeds will go to Withybush Hospital's cancer ward.

"It will be a gruelling 24 hours, but nothing compared to what cancer sufferers go through every single day," said Charlotte Neill, who has organised the event.

"Any support will be greatly appreciated and everyone is welcome to come along at anytime during the 24 hours."

The challenge will take place at Sir Thomas Picton School gym.
