Saundersfoot's talented teenager Tom Mansbridge has been named the Thomas Carroll Pembroke County Cricket Club (PCCC) player of the month for August.
He began the month with a super all round display in his side's Division Two game at Llanrhian, scoring a magnificent 142 not out before returning figures of 4 for 35.
He backed this up with 40 not out and 3 for 21 the following week against Haverfordwest 2nds, and added another 40 the week after against Stackpole.
He continued his good form with a haul of 4 for 48 at Burton on Saturday, and on Sunday, he rounded off a great month by being names man of the match as the combined team of Carew and Saundersfoot claimed the Ormond Youth Cup.
He received his reward this morning at Haverfordwest Cricket Club off Brian Hawkins, who was representing league sponsors Thomas Carroll, and Paul Webb, Chairman of the PCCC.
