CLASS Four in St Aidan's Church in Wales School undertook a project on Pentre Ifan Stones in September and entered a linked coding competition run by Aberystwyth University.
All pupils designed a Scratch Interactive animation based on the legend of the Pentre Ifan Fairies which required them to use a basic coding language.
James Clark was the winner of the Scratch Coding competition and has won a Raspberry Pi 3 computer.
The school will also get a free coding day run by the University.
St Aidan's already have a weekly coding club run by Mr Seimon Morris which is well attended and this has just served to get even more pupils interested in coding and using Raspberry Pi computers.
