A RAPID response was organised after a van crashed into scaffolding near a busy Haverfordwest street.
The van was trapped under scaffolding in an alleyway just off Barn Street, near the old Pembroke Hotel.
JP Scaffolding sent a crew of six men to quickly dismantle the scaffolding and free the van.
The team cordoned off the area from members of the public, leaving only the top of the scaffolding visible to observers.
A crane was also brought in to deal with the situation.
A managing director for JP Scaffolding said the team arrived on the scene 20 minutes after being told of the incident.
The spokesperson said no emergency services had to be called due to the swift work of the scaffolding team, which included the company's health and safety executive.
Only minor traffic disruption took place during a five minute window in which the crane was in use on Barn Street.
The JP Scaffolding director said the response action was carried out at 2.20pm, and was carried out in 20 minutes to avoid disrupting 3pm school run.
