TWO boys were rescued from mud flats on the eastern Cleddau on Monday afternoon, August 6.
Shortly before 4pm, Tenby Coastguard Rescue team, along with Llansteffan Coastguard Rescue team, Mid and West Wales fire service and the Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust were paged to reports of two people stuck on kayaks in the mud at Landshipping.
Firefighters from Narberth, Milford Haven and Carmarthen took part in the operation.
All crews rendezvoused at Landshipping and performed a multi-agency rescue of the two.
They were brought back to dry land and assessed by paramedics before being released into the care of family members.
